1. Information we collect

Information from your Google Account. When you sign in with Google, we request only the openid, email and profile scopes and receive:

• your Google account identifier;
• your name;
• your email address and whether it is verified;
• your profile picture, if you have one.

We never receive your Google password. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Contacts or any other Google service or data.

Content you create. Study groups, subjects, tasks, deadlines, teams, personal notes, completion statuses, discussion messages and @mentions, links and files you attach to tasks.

Technical information. Session records (including IP address and browser user agent), OAuth tokens issued by Google for your sign-in, in-app notifications and notification preferences, and — if you enable push notifications — your browser’s push subscription endpoint and keys.

2. How we use information

• to sign you in, keep you signed in and protect your account;
• to create your profile and show your name, email and photo to members of the study groups you join;
• to provide the calendar, tasks, teams, discussions and file attachments;
• to send in-app and push notifications about new tasks, replies, mentions and upcoming deadlines (push can be turned off at any time);
• to maintain, secure and troubleshoot the service.

We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, do not build advertising profiles and do not use it to train AI or machine-learning models.

3. Google user data and Limited Use

Hetmanist’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data (name, email, profile picture) is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above. It is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide the service (our hosting and database providers listed below), to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with prior notice to users. No human reads this data unless you give explicit consent, it is needed for security purposes or to comply with law.

4. Sharing

• Members of your study group can see your name, email, profile picture and the shared content (tasks, team data, discussion messages, attachments) within that group.
• Service providers that process data on our behalf solely to run the app: Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database and file storage).
• Google processes data during sign-in under its own Privacy Policy.

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services.

5. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

6. Data retention and deletion

Sessions expire after 30 days of inactivity. Your account data and content are kept while you use the service. You can delete your own tasks, messages and attachments in the app. To delete your account and all associated personal data, email olehmarkevych00@gmail.com from the address linked to your account; we will delete it within 30 days. Content you shared in a group may remain visible to that group without being linked to your profile.

You can revoke Hetmanist’s access to your Google Account at any time in Google Account connections. Revoking access does not by itself delete data already stored in Hetmanist.

7. Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Data is stored with providers that encrypt it at rest. Access to group data is restricted to its members, and files are served only through short-lived signed links.

8. Children

Hetmanist is intended for students and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

Під час входу через Google ми запитуємо лише дозволи openid, email і profile та отримуємо ідентифікатор облікового запису, ім’я, email і фото профілю, якщо воно є. Пароль Google нам не передається. Ми не запитуємо доступ до Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar чи інших даних Google.

Також зберігаємо дані, які ви додаєте: групи, предмети, завдання, команди, нотатки, статуси виконання, повідомлення в обговореннях, згадки, посилання та файли. Для роботи сервісу зберігаються сесії (зокрема IP-адреса й інформація про браузер), токени Google для входу, сповіщення та їх налаштування, а якщо ви ввімкнули push-сповіщення — дані push-підписки браузера.

2. Для чого використовуємо дані

Для входу та захисту акаунта, роботи календаря, завдань, команд, обговорень і файлів, показу вашого імені, email і фото учасникам ваших груп, а також для сповіщень про нові завдання, відповіді, згадки й дедлайни. Ми не продаємо дані, не використовуємо їх для реклами та для навчання моделей ШІ.

3. Дані Google та Limited Use

Використання та передавання інформації, отриманої з Google API, відповідає Google API Services User Data Policy, зокрема вимогам Limited Use. Дані Google використовуються лише для описаних функцій і не передаються третім сторонам, крім технічних постачальників сервісу або випадків, передбачених законом.

4. Кому доступні дані

Учасникам вашої групи — ім’я, email, фото та спільний вміст групи. Постачальникам Vercel (хостинг) і Neon (база даних і файли) — лише для роботи сервісу. Google обробляє дані під час входу відповідно до своєї політики конфіденційності. Сторонні інструменти аналітики та реклами не використовуються.

5. Cookies

Лише необхідні cookies для входу та підтримання сесії.

6. Зберігання та видалення

Сесія завершується після 30 днів неактивності. Дані зберігаються, поки ви користуєтеся сервісом. Свої завдання, повідомлення та файли можна видалити в застосунку. Щоб видалити акаунт і всі пов’язані персональні дані, напишіть на olehmarkevych00@gmail.com з адреси акаунта — ми видалимо їх протягом 30 днів. Доступ до Google-акаунта можна відкликати в налаштуваннях підключень Google; це саме по собі не видаляє збережені дані.

7. Безпека

Увесь трафік шифрується HTTPS, дані зберігаються в зашифрованому вигляді в постачальників, доступ до даних групи мають лише її учасники, файли видаються через тимчасові підписані посилання.

8. Діти

Сервіс призначений для студентів і не орієнтований на дітей до 13 років.
